CURRENT VACANCIES:

Technical Planner /Planning Engineer

Due to growth and expansion we have the opportunity for four Aircraft Planning Engineers to join our team.

Description/Tasks
  • Team Working through Continuous Improvement
  • To simplify and process all customer work requirements in line to the Company standards
  • To ensure compliance with customer and airworthiness requirements.
  • Work requests, reporting and processes utilizing full Company documentation
  • To manage the Maintenance and Refurbishment content of the Maintenance management program from initial receipt to aircraft departure from organization.
  • Monitor and communicate both internally and externally the aircraft progress.
  • Extensive customer interface and communication
Key Activities
  • Fully Engineer processes to maximize effective working and reduce downtimes as follows:
  • Understand and adhere to the Company Procedures and processes.
  • Create and control the Aircraft Documentation Control Log.
  • Capability of attending aircraft engineering pre-input meeting held prior to the aircraft input.
  • Ensure that all incoming defects are quantified, controlled and are achievable within the current budget and downtime.
  • Implement and maintain standard control processes for monitoring aircraft in work.
  • Highlight if the aircraft input is on schedule or not. (If not on schedule work with the Service provider Production Planning to propose a solution).
  • Where tasks/aircraft is not on schedule discuss and escalate the issue and solution to the Director.
  • Work with service provider production and assist in achieving the goal of delivering the aircraft.
  • Ensure that the Work orders are completed in full, sent to the Service provider and returned with acceptance form prior to work start.
  • Establish man-hour standards, Bill Of Materials and Bill Of Tools at Job Card level for all tasks raised to include additional defects raised at the Acceptance meeting or during the input meetings.
  • Research and assist in the creation of Job Cards (from various maintenance management programs ) to satisfy service provider work requirements that adheres to the present Company Standards.
  • Monitoring and action of the Technical Queries.
  • The control and communication of new/amended/deleted tasks (Additional Work Requirements).
  • Control of additional work requirements using the current Company processes from hand over to aircraft departure.
  • Ensure that all additional work is agreed, controlled and can be achieved.
  • Ensure that all Task performed cards Job Cards have been completed by the agreed Milestone date, and all Job Cards have been accounted and stamped to meet company QA requirements.
  • Control the Carry Forward process.
  • Ensure that all Job Cards are sent back to Maintenance management service provider for update on tracking system.
  • Present the completed project to Technical records for archive.
  • Ensure that the Work Report is printed and the status of each task shows the statement of Completed, Cancelled or Deferred. No task must display Overdue.
  • Complete all Planning Post Aircraft maintenance processes to include a control meeting.
  • Maintain a professional and personal ownership of working standards, personal presentation and of the work place for the team as per EAG Standards .
  • Promote, participate and encourage team working and Continuous improvement.
  • To be a proactive, forward thinking and self motivated team player.
  • Developing and motivating the team through leadership, communication & coaching.
  • To allocate out work to his/her Team and monitor that work against the targets and goals.
  • Research and creation of required supporting documentation that adheres to the Company standards. This supporting documentation has to be made available via an automatic process and linked to Company Data base.
  • When workload requires or requested by Director to assist in other Planning roles to ensure the Departments goals are met.
Qualification/Experience
  • 3 years experience in similar position in aviation industry
  • Project experience is beneficial to support various Maintenance management programs (CAMP, CESSCOM, FLIGHDOCS, CMP)
  • MS Office Specialist, in particular MS Project, Access and Excel
  • 2 years min. Planning experience
  • Team player, self motivated, able to work without constant supervision


Full Time Cabin Crew Required

  • Must be already based in the UAE or GCC
  • Preference for English/Russian speaking but not essential
  • Private Jet or BC/FC commercial airlines cabin service required
  • Height – maximum 170cms
  • Training will be provided
  • Remuneration commensurate on experience
